How We Get Consent to Text

Mermila, a sole proprietorship run by Samet Ozyasar in New York, sends text messages from one business number, (929) 203-9928. We only text people who contact us first. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. There are two ways a person can opt in.

1. Calling our business number

Our phone number is listed on our website at mermila.com/#call-us together with this notice:

Call or text (929) 203-9928. If we miss your call, we will send you one text message about your request so we can call you back. By calling this number, you agree to receive that text from Mermila. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

When a person calls (929) 203-9928 and we cannot answer, they receive one reply text:

Hi, this is Mermila. Sorry we missed your call - we're out on a job. Reply with your address and what you need, and we'll call you right back. Reply STOP to opt out.

We only send further texts if the person replies, and only about their request.

2. Demo request form on our website

The demo request form at mermila.com/#contact has a text message checkbox. The checkbox is optional, it is unchecked by default, and the form can be submitted without checking it. The checkbox reads:

Text me about my demo request. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

Only people who check the box receive texts about their demo request, for example:

Mermila: Thanks for your demo request. What's a good time today to call you at this number? Reply STOP to opt out.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact sam@mermila.com or (929) 203-9928. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
